Security
Private to you. Stored in the EU.
What Sixen reads, where it keeps it, what it never does, and how you delete it.
Last checked October 5, 2026. The full details are in our privacy policy.
Where your data is stored and processed
- Database and servers
- Google Cloud in Belgium (europe-west1).
- Text analysis
- Google's Vertex AI, in its EU region.
- Conversation text
- Held only while it's analyzed, then deleted. Sixen doesn't keep the full text of your transcripts or chats. It keeps short quotes as evidence for each read (at most 300 characters each), and from Slack only its own paraphrase, never a quote.
- Logs
- Sixen's own log lines hold only identifiers, counts and error codes, never conversation text.
One exception you should know about: Google runs automated abuse checks on the text it analyzes. If a check flags a request, Google may keep that request for up to 90 days, in the EU, under Google's own policy. We can't see or delete those copies.
Who can see it
You. Your people, conversations and reads are in your account, and only you see them.
Not your employer. There's no employer view, no export for anyone else and no ranking of people.
Not the people in your conversations. Sixen never tells them it has a read on them, and never shares one with them.
Not us, unless you ask. Nobody at Sixen reads your conversations or your reads, except when you ask us to (for example, to help with a problem) or when the law requires it.
In Slack, only you. Every answer Sixen gives in Slack is visible only to you. A public @sixen mention gets only a private pointer, never an answer.
What Sixen never does
- Never uses your data to train AI models. Google doesn't use it to train its models either.
- Never sells your data or shares it for advertising.
- Never used to decide anyone's job: no hiring, firing, pay or promotion decisions, and no rankings of people.
- Never listens. Sixen works only with text: no audio, voice or video, and no guessing at emotions.
- No bot joins your meetings. You choose the conversations Sixen reads.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking scripts.
How you delete it
You can delete anything yourself, at any time, and it can't be undone.
- A conversation
- Delete it from Conversations. Its moments go with it.
- A person
- Delete them from their page, with the moments and prep about them if you choose.
- Everything from Slack
- In Settings, remove every moment and record that came from Slack.
- Your Slack link
- Unlink in Settings or with /sixen unlink. Sixen revokes its Slack access and deletes it.
- Everything
- Delete everything in Settings removes all your data at once: people, conversations, moments, prep and your Slack link. You can delete your account at the same time. If you pay for a plan, it's canceled right away. Backups kept for recovery may hold your data for up to 7 days, and Sixen never restores deleted data to anyone's account.
What stays: Stripe keeps your invoices and customer record, because invoices must be kept for tax. Counters that enforce plan and usage limits, and records of what each request cost, hold no content; some are deleted within days and others are kept longer. The full list is in our privacy policy, section 6.
Who processes data for Sixen
Sixen is run by Elad Hakim, a sole trader in Portugal, who is responsible for your data. These companies process it for Sixen.
| Company | What it does for Sixen | Where | What it receives |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud (Firebase) | Database, servers and sign-in | Belgium (europe-west1) for the database and servers | Your account details and everything Sixen keeps |
| Google Cloud (Vertex AI) | Analyzes conversation text | EU | The text being analyzed, with each speaker's name replaced by the label you chose |
If you pay for a plan, your purchase is sold by our reseller, Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, which handles payment and tax under its own privacy policy. Stripe and Link never receive your conversations, notes or reads.
Sixen serves its own fonts. No third-party font host is used.
If you connect Slack, Sixen reads it with your own Slack sign-in. Slack keeps your messages under your workspace's settings and Slack's privacy policy.
Payments
Checkout and billing are run by Stripe. Sixen never sees or stores your card details. It keeps only what it needs to run your plan: your Stripe IDs, your plan and billing period, and when it renews.
